LET’S TALK THIS IS A SAFE SPACE TO SHARE:
No question is silly, this is a safe space.
-
Somatic Sex Coaching and Sexology offer a holistic approach to understanding your sexuality through the connection between your body, emotions, nervous system, relationships and lived experiences.
Rather than focusing only on the mind or trying to “think” your way through a sexual challenge, somatic work invites you to develop a deeper awareness of what is happening in your body and learn how to create greater safety, choice, pleasure, confidence and connection.
This work can support you to move beyond patterns that may be keeping you disconnected from your body, your sexuality or your relationships, and toward a more embodied and empowered experience of yourself.
-
Ruby works with a range of sexual, relational and embodied challenges. This may include difficulties with intimacy, desire, arousal, pleasure, orgasm, body confidence, sexual confidence, boundaries, communication and feeling safe or present during intimacy.
Ruby also works with people who may not have a specific “problem” but know they want to experience more pleasure, confidence, eroticism, connection and freedom in their sexuality.
The work is highly individualised and is centred around understanding your unique experiences, patterns and goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
-
Yes. Ruby offers 1:1 work for women who are ready for deeper support and transformation.
1:1 mentorship provides a more personalised container to explore your sexuality, embodiment, relationships and the patterns that may be influencing how you experience yourself and intimacy.
Depending on your goals, this may involve somatic practices, education, reflection, embodiment work, nervous-system awareness and personalised support between sessions.
-
Ruby primarily exclusively works with women who are seeking a deeper, more embodied relationship with their sexuality.
-
Somatic Sex Coaching is not psychotherapy or psychological therapy. It is an educational and coaching-based approach that explores sexuality, embodiment, relationships, pleasure and patterns within the body.
Where appropriate, Ruby may recommend working alongside a qualified psychologist, psychotherapist, medical practitioner or other healthcare professional.
-
Not at all.
You don't need to be experiencing a sexual dysfunction or relationship difficulty to benefit from this work. You may simply feel that there is another level of pleasure, confidence, intimacy or self-expression available to you.
Many people seek support because they want to feel more connected to their bodies, understand their sexuality more deeply or expand their capacity for pleasure and intimacy.
-
Your experience will depend on the offering and your individual goals.
Sessions and mentorship may include conversation, education, somatic exploration, reflection and practices designed to help you develop greater awareness and choice within your body and sexuality.
This is collaborative work. You are never expected to share or explore anything that does not feel appropriate for you.
-
Ruby's approach is grounded in body awareness, nervous-system education, consent, choice and creating a sense of safety within the work.
Somatic approaches can be particularly valuable for understanding how past experiences may continue to influence the way we relate to our bodies, sexuality and intimacy.
However, Somatic Sex Coaching is not a substitute for trauma therapy or mental-health treatment. Where deeper therapeutic support is required, an appropriate referral may be recommended.
-
Conversation is an important part of the work, but you are always in charge of what you choose to share.
The intention is to create a space where you can explore your experiences without judgement, pressure or shame. The work is guided by your goals, your boundaries and what feels supportive for you.
-
